Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, Puy-deDomme France in August 9th 1976. Audrey Tautou is the fourth child among four children. Her parents were dentists and a teacher recognised and backed her love for acting and theatre at an early age, which overcame her initial ambition to become a primatologist thanks to her passion for monkeys. Her fame grew as a child actor quickly and achieved enormous popularity and success. When she first began the acting profession, Tautou participated in Jeunes Premiers which was a French talent search TV program which was a part of Canal+ in 1998. She also won The award for the Best Young Actress at during the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou was a member of the church as well as the Institut Catholique de Paris during her early years, but is now separating herself from these upbringings. Along with her acting career she also pursued a modelling career. Also, she is the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Photography is another obsession and she was recently shown her work in the Arles festival under the name Superficial. Her photographs is mainly focused on celebrities and fame. The camera's focus is on journalists who examined her rise to the heights of fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's worldwide popularity and success exploded following her role in the film as Amelie Poulain's leading lady in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie was a global success at the box office and won awards around the world. Amelie is the most successful film that is French-speak in the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long Sunday de Faancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
